Muscle Through It Returns To P.E.I.

Charlottetown Driving Park

After an incredible showing by Muscle Through It’s two-year-olds in the 2022 Atlantic Stakes season, Windemere Farms has announced the stallion will return to P.E.I. to stand the 2023 breeding season.

The son of Muscle Hill had a compact crop of six foals born in 2020 from his lone year on the East Coast of Canada with every one of those rookies making the races. In the Aug. 16 Atlantic Sires Stakes division at Red Shores Charlottetown, phenomenal standout Irish Ray, sired by Muscle Through It, won his fifth straight race to remain undefeated in his career. Getting Salty finished second in the division ahead of Windemeregotmuscle for a perfect Muscle Through It triactor.

“There is no question Muscle Through It throws high class trotters straight to the racetrack and the team at Windemere Farms is very pleased to welcome the stallion back for the 2023 season,” said Windemere Farms’ Earl Watts. “The Atlantic Canadian trotting breed is a staple of our East Coast stakes program and Windemere Farms is committed to servicing trot mare owners so that champion trotters can continue to be born, trained and raced in the region.”

The 2023 service fee for Muscle Through It will be announced at a later date.
