Only $5,000 separates the top two stables in the 2014 Trot Magazine Fantasy Stable contest.

Bill Beacham of Calabogie, Ont. is leading the nearly 1,000 entrants in the inaugural edition of the contest. His stable has a collective total of $2,079,362. Beacham is ahead of second-place Paul Fisher of Freelton, Ont., whose stable bankroll sits at $2,074,219.
