With harness racing kicking off this weekend across the province of Ontario, the revised dates have been set for the Mark Austin Pacing Series at Dresden Raceway.
The series is in memory of trainer Mark Austin who got his start at Dresden and went on to train several top horses in the province.
The first leg of the series is set for June 20, while the second leg will go behind the gate June 27 and the $15,900 Final will hit the track July 4.
This year 39 horses declared eligibility for the Mark Austin Pacing Series as they fit the requirements of Non-winners of one race or $5,000 (F&M $6,000) as of midnight March 31, 2021.
