Officials with Horse Racing New Brunswick have informed Trot Insider that, effective July 1, HRNB will no longer be giving out purse cheques on the day that a given horse races.
Horse Racing New Brunswick will be waiting until Standardbred Canada confirms the race results and the results of testing come back, like other tracks do.
Officials with HRNB would also like to announce that for the July 1 race card, truck-in money will not be issued for the Not So Wealthy Series nor the Walter Dale Memorial.
