The Prince Edward Island Harness Racing Industry Association (PEIHRIA) is seeking applicants for a Member at Large Position on its Board of Directors.
Position Details:
• Voting member of the Board of Directors: considered member at large.
• Volunteer term position
• Must be a resident of Prince Edward Island and from Prince County
Responsibilities:
• Attend monthly board meetings
• Assist the Board as required
Job Specifications:
• Strong knowledge of the Prince Edward Island Standardbred horse racing sector and demographic.
• Be able to identify areas for improvement in the horse racing industry and suggest ideas for improvement.
• Assist with formulating a plan for the horse racing industry’s future on PEI.
• Represent the Industry Association while communicating with the horse people of Prince Edward Island.
