The Alberta Standardbred Horse Association announced today that all systems are a 'go' for racing at Alberta Downs in Lacombe
.
Despite a wicked spring snowstorm which ripped through most of Alberta last Thursday, ASHA is reporting everything is still in place for opening weekend. ASHA would also like to, in part, thank Alberta horsepeople for their determined work.
The first entry box will be open Tuesday, May 4 for Saturday, May 8, and Wednesday, May 5 for Sunday, May 9.

The spring/summer meet at Alberta Downs is scheduled to run from May 8 to August 29 on a Saturday-Sunday-Monday schedule (no Monday, May 10 racing, though) with a first-race post time of 1:00 p.m.
