Due to the impeding ice storm which will hit southwestern Ontario beginning this afternoon, the live harness racing program slated for Wednesday (Feb. 22) at The Raceway at the Western Fair District has been cancelled. Simulcasting will also be closed today due to the expected unsafe travel conditions.
Live racing is slated resume this Friday night (Feb. 24) at 5:50 p.m. Horsepeople are reminded that the track is scheduled to be open for training this week on Friday morning from 8 a.m. – 11 a.m. while qualifiers have been moved to after Friday night’s race program (approximately 9:30 p.m.).
