Woodbine Mohawk Park will have a couple of different yet familiar voices in the announcer’s booth for this weekend’s live racing.
Doug McPherson will be announcing Friday night’s card of racing. McPherson is the new track announcer at Fort Erie, a job he came to with experience in each aspect of the Thoroughbred industry.
Shannon ‘Sugar’ Doyle will be calling Saturday’s races. Racing fans will recognize Sugar’s voice from Western Fair, where he has been announcing for nearly a decade.
Post time on each night is 7 p.m.
