A private graveside service has taken place for longtime harness racing industry participant Ken Hanson of Strathclair, Man., who passed away on July 1, 2023 at the age of 91.
The husband of Annabelle Pirie, Ken was a trainer, driver and owner of Standardbreds. In recent years, he partnered with participants the likes of Travis & Jodie Cullen, Tyler Redwood and Phil Giesbrecht with horses that raced in western Canada.
