After dominating last night's Ontario Sires Stakes Gold leg at Woodbine Mohawk Park, trainer Nick Gallucci and driver James MacDonald returned to the Campbellville, Ont. oval on Tuesday morning with more Millar Farms homebred pacing fillies prepping for their time in the spotlight.

Two-year-old pacing filly Savethelastdance opened the Tuesday morning qualifying session at Mohawk with a 1:55.1 victory, looping the early leader at the :59.3 half-mile mark and drawing off to win by five lengths with back-to-back :27.4 final quarters. Battle of the Belles champion Big Big Plans finished up in second for the Bob McIntosh stable while the maiden colt L A La Rush was third.

The Bettors Delight-Hidden Gem filly is a full sibling to OSS three-year-old pacing filly divisional point leader Silver Label, who finished a half-length back of stablemate Prohibition Legal in their latest Gold division last night. Savethelastdance (pictured above) is a two-time Gold winner herself this season, with a four-for-five rookie record, and was back in action after being scratched sick from the Shes A Great Lady eliminations.

The same connections watched another two-year-old filly, Honey Love (Big Jim-Mind Over Matter), earn her second straight qualifying victory, closing from third in :29.2 to win by more than five lengths in 1:57.1. The filly Chedda Chedda and the debuting colt Sauble Ace finished second and third.

Two-year-olds on the trot were led by Gold winner Mass Market, who scored by a nose in 1:57.4 over Perfetto's OSS stakes-placed half-brother Passarino off a :28.1 final quarter rally with Trevor Henry in the bike. Lookslikeagoodfella finished third after cutting the mile (:29.2, :59, 1:28.4). The Muscle Mass-Pier Ho La Donato gelding finished fourth in the Champlain Stakes last time out on Sept. 15 and has banked nearly $75,000 with cheques in all eight of his starts so far for the McIntosh stable.

Rounding out the two-year-old winners, the Resolve-Black Caviar gelding Beacon Beach trotted a 1:59.1 mile in his qualifier with Louis-Philippe Roy between the wheels for trainer Scott McEneny.
