Shes In The Moment Picked To Win CDP Feature

Published: September 14, 2022 11:43 am EDT

Shes In The Moment will try to contribute to Mark Bradley’s journey towards 1,000 lifetime wins on Thursday evening at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

The historic East Coast half-miler has 12 dashes scheduled for a 6 p.m. start time with Shes In The Moment leaving from post five in the Race 11 featured pace. Tom Weatherbie trains the nine-time winner for owners Blair and Carl Hansen, Isaac Schurman and Cecil Vilard. The four-year-old daughter of Control The Moment was a runner-up from off-the-pace in her latest outing and will try to help her driver, Mark Bradley, reach a career milestone. A former sought after driver at Northlands Park and Stampede Park on the Alberta racing circuit, the Charlottetown native sits at 996 lifetime driving victories heading into his six Thursday evening mounts.

Another top choice in the Thursday evening feature is post two starter Ms Moye (to be driven by Adam Merner) from the Melissa Rennie barn. The Rollwithitharry five-year-old is a four-time winner in 2022 including a 1:55.3 front-end performance two starts back. The front-running Elm Grove Mistress (Jason Hughes) has rail control in the dash while Open pacing mare Atlantic Star (Mike McGuigan) is saddled with post seven.

The "Post Time Picks" like Shes In The Moment to get it all: “We went with Shes In The Moment last week and she raced great just missing at the very end. Bumps up the class ladder and coming off that trip could go one better tonight.”

Also in the top pacing field are Filly Forty Seven (Marc Campbell), Miami Seelster (Gilles Barreau) and Better Than Men (Corey MacPherson).

The evening card also features a $3,500 Island Oceans Trot Series Grassroots division in Race 2 with Hallofaride looking for his sixth lifetime win from post four for driver John Davidson and owner/trainer Janice Hubbard of Saint John, N.B.

The Allstar Cresting Prospect Trot Series showcases two $3,200 divisions in Races 4 and 6. Twin B Harry (Barrieau) is the top selection in Race 4 while Oceanview Cicero (MacPherson) is the favourite in Race 6.
