CDP Feature To Shock The Rock

Shock The Rock, owned by Bethany MacLeod of Charlottetown, won the Thursday night feature in an impressive clocking of 1:57 at Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

Driver Mark MacKinnon, who was celebrating his birthday, mapped out the winning trip sending Shock The Rock to the front from the rail before rating fractions of :28.1, :58.1 and 1:28 en route to the win of Artners In Crime (Ron Matheson) for second and Rymar Chief (Ken Murphy) finished third.

BJ Eldorado won the evening trot division for driver Mark Cullen and owner Bert Honkoop of Montague.

Danny MacDonald and Mike McGuigan recorded driving doubles on the 12 dash card.

Racing returns Saturday. Post time is 6 p.m.
