Chatelroll and Credit List captured the co-features at Vernon Downs on Saturday (May 8).
Chatelroll was impressive in winning the $7,000 Open Pace.
Bruces Magic took control and hit the first quarter in :27. He remained in charge and hit the half first in :56.3. Wind Blast came first over as they approached the final turn. Chatelroll made his move going three wide as Wind Blast hit three-quarters first in 1:24.1.
As they made the turn for home, the race was over as Chatelroll came flying down the stretch to secure his second-straight Open win at Vernon in 1:52.1. Bruces Magic was second with Wind Blast getting third.

Chatelroll is a five-year-old horse by Roll With Joe. He is trained by George Ducharme for the Purple Haze Stables. He is now two-for-two in 2021 and has 13 victories overall. Frank Affrunti drove the $3.40 winner.
Credit List trotted down Spoiler Alert to take the $7,000 Open Trot.
American JJ was the first to get a call, but Spoiler Alert took control before hitting the first quarter in :27.1. He used a :29.3 second quarter to hit the half in :56.4. Bourbon Express was the first to make a move as they headed for the last turn. Spoiler Alert shook him off and led to three-quarters in 1:25.1.
Credit List found himself last at the half and was fourth after three-quarters before making his move down the stretch. Spoiler Alert was game, but Credit List was too strong in the end and won in 1:54.1. Spoiler Alert settled for second with Winding Hill coming up to get third.

Credit List is a six-year-old gelding by Credit Winner. He is owned by Jonathan Applebaum and trained by Justin Huckabone. It was his fifth win in a row and seventh of the season. He now has 18 victories and paid $5.10 to win.
