Lexus Markus pulled the pocket for Ronnie Wrenn Jr. into the final turn and finally wore down the game Icanflylikeanagel, downing him by a neck in 1:55.4. Fawn De Touch rallied for show.
Ron Burke trains Lexus Markus, a six-year-old Amigo Hall-Lexus Helios gelding who pushed his career bankroll to $155,608, for Burke Racing Stable and Weaver Bruscemi LLC.
