Sent the slight 3-2 favourite, Chocolate Terror charged off a perfect trip to a 1:56.2 romp in the $9,300 featured pace during the evening card at Century Mile on Saturday (Dec. 18).

Leaving from the pylon post, Chocolate Terror sat the pocket to Jessies Girl, who set a pace of :28.4, :58 and 1:28 on an uncontested lead in the abbreviated field. But coming into the long stretch, trainer-driver Nate Sobey sent Chocolate Terror after the lead and the six-year-old Stonebridge Terror mare lifted, swiftly putting away Jessies Girl and extending to a 7-1/2-length victory at the pole. Bearcat Josi settled for third and Big Bad Goldie rounded the field in fourth.

Co-owned by Sobey with Glenda Winkleman and Mark German, Chocolate Terror won her ninth race from 104 lifetime starts, pushing her earnings to $113,045. She paid $5 to win.
