Roll Em will take on five foes in the featured pace on Saturday, Oct. 14 at Red Shores Racetrack and Casino at the Charlottetown Driving Park.
The city track has a 14-dash presentation starting at 12:30 p.m. with the $3,800 Preferred Pace lining up in Race 13.
Roll Em is assigned post six in the field for driver Marc Campbell, co-owner and trainer Brent Campbell and co-owners Brady Doyle, Ryan MacLeod and Savage Stable. The son of Time To Roll has been splendid in 2023 with eight wins from 17 starts along with $69,393 in Atlantic Canadian earnings after winning last week’s $35,000 Premier’s Pace final.
Laughagain Hanover has rail control in this Saturday’s bout for trainer-driver Jason Hughes. The McArdle five-year-old is making his second start back off a qualifier after a hard-closing third in the Preferred 2 class last week.
The Ron Matheson-trained Blood Money (Gilles Barrieau) holds down post two with five straight top-three finishes lately including a Preferred 2 win on Oct. 8.
Post three has Stash It Away from the Kevin MacLean barn with Ken Murphy listed to drive the 20-time winner. Brady Sweet will drive Vino Louie with post four for trainer Jeff Holmes while Trevor Hicken pupil Rollwithhottytoddy (Myles Heffernan Sr.) has post five after finishing fourth in last week’s Premier’s Pace final.

The $3,300 Fillies and Mares top pace is in Race 11 with a field of seven. Chelski rides a two-race win streak into the event from post six for driver Corey MacPherson and trainer Jennifer Doyle. Nova Scotia owners Jeffrey and Robert Skinner holds the papers on the 15-time winning daughter of Rollwithitharry. Other top entries are Dreamfair Zenfire (Campbell) and Acefourtyfour Dome (Hughes).
