Thursday evening at Red Shores at the Charlottetown Driving Park featured a pair of $3,200 All Star Cresting Prospect Trot Series divisions where sophomore Camco Laraido topped with the faster split in 2:02.2.

Camco Laraido sped off the gate to become the pacesetter for the mile. With panels in :30.2, 1:02 and 1:33, Ken Murphy and the Kyle Desroche trainee set up for a generous four-length victory over Howmac Swanky (Michael McGuigan) and Incredible Willie (Myles Heffernan).

Leah Ann Moyer owns the freshman E L Rocket gelding as he earned his first win in nine starts. After hitting the board in all nine attempts, Camco Laraido has pocketed $15,960.

Sophomore Angus Hall gelding Mile Hill Gus took the other split in 2:05.1 for his maiden-breaking victory. Corey MacPherson was in the bike for owner-trainer Paul Morrison of Cardigan, P.E.I.

Sitting chilly for the duration of the mile, Redlandbethanyjean showed up for the final quarter to get it all in the featured pace on Thursday evening.

Brodie MacPhee supplied the perfect steer behind in the $2,700 featured pace as Redlandbethanyjean was taken back at the start to sit fifth while You Aint Dolly (Kenny Arsenault) demanded the lead to the opening quarter of :27.3 then hit the half in :56.4. The three-quarters mark was reached in 1:26.3 by the front-stepping You Aint Dolly with Redlandbethanyjean positioned second-over before the Tom Weatherbie trainee pounced in the stretch to win in 1:55. The winning daughter of Artspeak is owned by Redland Farms of Bible Hill, N.S. You Aint Dolly hung on for second while Woodmere Rolllily (Adam Merner) was third.

The duo of driver Marc Campbell and trainer Brent Campbell teamed up for a pair of wins as Windemere Saddy had a maiden-breaking score of 1:59.4 in race three and The Lady Sheriff won race seven in 1:57.3.
