Boudoir Hanover captured her third consecutive win in the $33,333 Mares Open Handicap Pace at Bally’s Dover on Wednesday (Jan. 10) night.

At the start of the race, Majorca N raced alertly to the top, forcing Incaseyoudidntknow to take an early seat approaching the quarter pole. The 1-5 betting favourite, Boudoir Hanover, left from post eight and floated on the outside. Driver Tim Tetrick then fired the engines and rushed Boudoir Hanover to the top, passing the opening quarter in :27.3. Majorca N accepted the pocket. Boudoir Hanover continued on the engine, leading the field of quality mares to the half in :55.3, a :28 flat quarter.

Boudoir Hanover continued pacing confidently down the backstretch. Incaseyoudidntknow was first to pull on the outside. Got The Gold took her cue and followed closely second over on the rim. Majorica N continued in the pocket.

Boudoir Hanover opened up on the field passing the three-quarters mark in 1:23.2 (:27.4). In the stretch, Boudoir Hanover was in hand winner by 2-1/2 lengths, pacing the mile in 1:51.1. She paid $2.40 for the win. Majorca N finished second and Got The Gold picked up the show spot.

A career winner of 17 races and more than $1.2 million, Boudoir Hanover (Captaintreacherous-Bedroomconfessions) is trained by Tony Alagna and is owned by Riverview Racing, Alagna Racing, Caviart Farms and D Plouffe And S Head.

The win was one of five on the betting card for Tetrick.
