National Caretaker Appreciation Day (NCAD) events were held at 13 racetracks across Canada between late August and mid-September, in cooperation with Standardbred Canada. The tracks, along with local horseman’s groups and volunteers, recognized and rewarded caretakers in many different ways, and here TROT shares a photo essay of some of the festivities.
