Officials with Yonkers Raceway have announced that the track is looking to augment its million-dollar Yonkers International Trot on Saturday, October 15 with a pair of $250,000 invitationals, one each for trotters and pacers.
The distance of the invitationals races have been slated to be one mile, although the track has stated that could be changed.
Yonkers is asking any interested parties to contact the race office at 914-457-2627.
Horsepeople and fans are reminded that first post for the rare Saturday afternoon card will be 1:10 p.m., pending approval by the New York State Gaming Commission.
