The seventh annual Race Track Chaplaincy of Canada golf tournament, sponsored by Luc and Anita Ouellette, is less than a month away and there a still some available spots for individuals and teams.
The golf tournament, set for Wednesday, September 10, is the major fundraiser for the Chaplaincy to carry on its activities throughout the year.
Once again, organizers will be offering the $25,000 shot at a hole-in-one, sponsored by Canamerica Capital and Hyatt Holdings, along with the longest drive and closest to the pin contests for both men and women during the day.
Organizers will once again offer live and silent auctions, a 50/50 draw, and a raffle.
The tournament will be held on the Cobalt course at the Granite Ridge Golf Course on Dublin Line in Milton, Ont. Registration will begin at 11:30 a.m. and after a BBQ lunch a shotgun start at 1 p.m. Cost for the day is $150 per player or $600 per team, with a maximum of 144 players for the day. Each paid player is eligible to win a special door prize of a $200 gift certificate for dinner for four.
