Indiana horseman Wayne M. Yontz passed away last month (on June 18) at IU Health Goshen Hospital. He was 74.
Born in Goshen, Ind., Yontz trained Standardbreds.
On August 24, 1974, Yontz married Rama Jo Widner. She passed away on Oct. 21, 2013.
He is survived by three children, Douglas (Beth), Cynthiana, Ky., David Yontz and Leslie (Harold Buck) Rodgers-Buck, of Goshen; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
