The interior of British Columbia is experiencing a State of Emergency with the wildfire situation which as gotten out of control. The area that is affected is major ranch country. It is putting it lightly that a lot of livestock has to be evacuated.
Officials with Canmor Farm in the Aldergrove have informed Trot Insider that it had space to offer. The farm received 12 horses yesterday (Sunday, July 9) and farm officials would like to give its thanks to Thompson Horse Vanlines. Today more people that are being affected by the fires are shipping 16 more horses to the farm.
Canmor Farm officials are encouraging everyone that has space, time or equipment available to help the horses during this trying time and help your interior neighbours.
