Over the past several weeks the Standardbred Canada website has been undergoing intermittent and sometimes chronic service interruptions. What once was thought to be a blip in computer programming has become a more severe and difficult issue.
A third-party computer consulting company has been employed to work with the IT department to determine the root cause of this interrupted service and have it corrected, and at this time of writing they continue to troubleshoot looking for a permanent solution.
We understand that in this day and age internet usage and availability is expected rather than it being a periodic novelty of entertainment. We all rely on it to be there when we want it.
We also understand that over the years our visitors have come to the site as their single source for results and racing news, and to have to put up with this problem when the service seems like it has always been there, is not only frustrating but disappointing.
We share your sentiments.
Over the years, the Standardbred Canada team has for the most part provided our members and others with seamless current racing and news information. To have this ongoing service interruption is not only concerning but extremely upsetting as we have prided ourselves in being able to provide and serve our membership and all other website visitors through this service.
We are not taking our responsibilities or your expectations lightly as no one wants more to have this problem rectified than the Standardbred Canada team.
Our commitment is to get this resolved as soon as possible and we continue to work to that end.
