Surrounded by family, longtime horse trainer Tom Harding of Milton, Ont. passed away peacefully at his home on Monday, May 25 after a long and courageous battle with cancer.
Beloved husband To Patricia Harding, most loving father of Jimmy, Michael (Dianne), Gerry, Nathan, Jennifer Rose (Chris), Cody (Denise), devoted and proud Papa of Cameron, Ryder, Chase and Cruze.
Visitation will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 31 at McKersie-Kocher Funeral Home, 114 Main St E, Milton, Ont., L9T 1N5, (905) 878-4452. A private ceremony will be held for family on Monday for burial in Mattawa.
In accordance with Tom's wishes, in lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Standardbred Racetrack Chaplaincy for their hard work and dedication to horsemen, especially grooms -- in his eyes the heart and soul of the industry.
