The Raceway at Western Fair District will once again be one of the busiest tracks in North America during this upcoming holiday season, as it will feature seven programs of live racing over a 13-day period.
For the second consecutive year, ‘The Raceway’ will team up with longtime industry partner Wilson Tack to present Christmas In The Paddock on Saturday, December 22, which will be The Raceway’s final program prior to the Christmas break. The card will feature a special start time of 1:15 p.m.
All horsepeople racing that week (December 17, 18, 21 and 22) will have a chance to fill out a ballot for one of dozens of prizes to be drawn during the Saturday afternoon program.
Fans are reminded that in addition to the December 22 program, The Raceway will also host programs of live racing on December 26 (Boxing Day) at 1:15 p.m., December 28 at 6:55 p.m., December 31 (New Year’s Eve) at 6:55 p.m. and January 1 (New Year’s Day) at 6:15 p.m. The first Wednesday program of 2019 is slated for January 2 at 6:15 p.m.
The great Foiled Again will make his final appearance in London on the evening of Friday, December 21. The richest pacer of all-time and two-time Molson Pace champion will be on hand to meet fans during the night. There will also be a special retirement presentation during the evening where 150 fans will have a chance to take home a commemorative Foiled Again hockey puck.
