Standardbred Canada and the I Love Canadian Harness Racing Fan Club would like to thank everyone who took the time to submit photos for the 2015 Heart of Harness Racing Calendar.
The Fan Club received over 150 submissions from fans and horse people across the country so it was no easy task for the selection committee to narrow it down to 13 images!

The message came through loud and clear in the photos and accompanying stories that people shared with us….our fans and horse people are extremely passionate about racing, their horses and their connection to the industry.

The following tracks / associations are having calendar giveaways:

Lakeshore Harness Racing will be giving them out at their Christmas party on December 11

Northlands Park will be handing them out to racing fans this Friday, December 12 and Saturday, Dec. 13. First race post time is 6:30 p.m.

Flamboro Downs will be handing them out to racing fans this Friday, December 12 and the Fan Club Team will be on site to sell Fan Club merchandise so here’s an opportunity to get some Christmas shopping done while you are at the track! Racing starts at 6 p.m.

The Alberta Standardbred Horse Association will be handing out calendars in the paddock at Northlands this Saturday, Dec. 13.

Truro Raceway will be making their calendars available on Sunday, Dec. 14, 21, and 28 and will have second chance draws for people to use their uncashed mutual tickets to win calendars. Racing starts at 1:00 p.m.

Fraser Downs will hand out calendars on Boxing Day, Friday, December 26, starting at noon in the Atrium, and Harness Racing BC will be making them available in their office and the backstretch kitchen.

Red Shores Racetrack & Casino at Charlottetown Driving Park will offer a free calendar, while supplies last, with the purchase of a program on Boxing Day, Friday, December 26. Post time for the event is 1 pm. On-track program sales begin at noon.

The Raceway at Western Fair District will be handing their calendars out on New Year’s Eve, Wednesday, December 31. Post time is 8 p.m.
