Horsepeople that are planning to attend the reunion at the Mohawk Inn and Conference Centre on Thursday, October 12 are encouraged to bring harness racing memorabilia (pictures, etc.) for display purposes.
Representatives of every facet of the Canadian harness racing industry from days past and present – from Atlantic Canada to British Columbia, and California to Florida, and points between – will be there to renew acquaintances, old and new, and celebrate the 250th year of horseracing in Canada.
Jim Ralph, the colour commentator for the Toronto Maple Leafs' radio broadcast, will emcee the event.
The much anticipated evening, which is sponsored by the Ontario Harness Horse Association (OHHA), will get underway at 7:00 p.m. Light fare will be provided and a cash bar will be open until 1:00 a.m.
