A voice known to racegoers across North America will echo through the Leamington Raceway grandstand on Sunday (Aug. 19), and fans will have a chance to "own a horse" via an on-track drawing.
Roger Huston, the voice of the Little Brown Jug, will be calling races on the afternoon's card, as well as holding a meet and greet with fans in attendance.
Additionally, Leamington Raceway will also give fans a chance to win 10 per cent "ownership" of the horse Undrafted, owned by Lou Sorella, for his next start. The lucky fan who wins this draw will not only be eligible for a tour of the paddock on that race night, but will also meet the horse and his trainer and receive equivalent to 10 per cent of the horse's purse earnings that night less driver and trainer commissions.
