Sugar Crisp Tops Nova Scotia Sale

The Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition Select Yearling Sale took place Friday in the Agridome at the Nova Scotia Provincial Exhibition Grounds in Truro, Nova Scotia, with 34 youngsters going through the ring.

Hip 16 Sugar Crisp was the sale topper at $10,500. The son of Camystic, who was consigned by Meridian Farms, was purchased by Dave Fillmore. The colt is the third foal out of Allamerican Shaina – a three-quarter sister to Andy Roo (1:49.3 - $780,030).

The total sales reached $148,000 for an average price of $4,352.
