Threepeat For Try Try Again

Try Try Again rallied from out of the clouds again for driver Chris Christoforou on Monday evening at Woodbine Mohawk Park, and in doing so the Dustin Jones trainee extended his winning streak to three.

Christoforou dropped into eighth in the early going with Try Try Again while Wild And Crazy Guy and B Yoyo took turns on the lead through fractions of :27.3, :56.3 and 1:25.1. Try Try Again moved into the outer flow going to the half, and he was position fifth on the outside as the group headed into the closing quarter.

Try Try Again set sail in the final two furlongs of the $26,000 trotting tilt, and his :28-second closing kick earned him the win by a neck over Dia Monde in 1:54.1. Taking home the show dough was Free Willy Hanover.

It was the fourth win of the 2018 campaign for the four-year-old son of Kadabra-Sweetspellosuccess and the 10th win to date. The lion’s share of the purse pushed his lifetime earnings to $188,835. He is owned by Dustin Jones Stables Inc, Noblock Racing Stable and Andrea Lea Racingstables Inc.
