Pappy Go Go Now 12-For-12

Pappy Go Go demolished his rivals, remaining undefeated in 12 starts this season when winning his Maritime Breeder's Final Saturday, October 21 at Red Shores at the Charlottetown Driving Park.

Pappy Go Go, trained and driven by Marc Campbell, defeated his seven foes in the $7,750 Buddy Campbell Memorial Maritime Breeder's Three-Year-Old Trot final with first over tactics in a 2:00.1 mile for owner Grayland Farm of Pugwash, N.S.

Miss Neala Ridge took the lead from post four for trainer-driver Clare MacDonald, going splits of :30.1, 1:00.2 and 1:30.1 before giving way to Pappy Go Go's first-over bid. Miss Neala Ridge held second with Wicked Nick finishing third.

Windemeredontuworry won the $7,000 Two-Year-Old Trot Maritime Breeder's Final, the second leg of his division's Atlantic Triple Crown. Gilles Barrieau steered the son of Armbro Barrister off the front to a 2:01.2 win over race-favourite Buckaroo, with Oceanview Tadpole finishing third.

Good Luck Kathy converted a pocket ride into victory in the $2,250 Open Mares Pace for driver Jason Hughes, conditioner Jennifer Trainor and owner Danny Birt of Stratford. Time of the mile was 1:56.1.

Rose Run Quest continued his roll as he once again captured the $2,400 Preferred Pace for trainer-driver Marc Campbell and owner Blair Hansen of Charlottetown. The five-year-old son of If I Can Dream recorded a 1:57.1 win over Forever Paradise and Junebugs Baby.
