The sixth annual Buckeye Classic Yearling Sale was conducted on Tuesday, October 13 at the Champions Center Expo in Springfield, Ohio, and featured a catalogue of 212 yearlings.

The sale topper ended up being (Hip #189), Fear My Britches, a bay colt by Fear The Dragon out of Soggy Britches (by Allamerican Ingot), who attracted a bid of $100,000. Fear My Britches is the third foal out of Soggy Britches, who previously foaled sub-1:49 winners Johny Rock ($397,948, 1:48f) and Blazin Britches ($580,824, 1:48.4). The Emerald Highlands Farm-consigned colt was purchased by Virgil Morgan Jr., who was acting in an agent capacity for Dana Parham.
