Trot Insider has learned that 2014 O'Brien Award winner Habitat has been sold.

A winner of his last four starts, including the Yonkers Trot and the New York Sire Stakes Final, trotting sophomore Habitat was co-owned by trainer Ron Burke along with Our Horse Cents Stables of Clifton Park, N.Y. and Weaver Bruscemi LLC of Canonsburg, Penn.

Habitat (Conway Hall - Habits Best) has assembled a summary of 15-4-2 from 28 starts with more than $1.2 million in purse earnings. He boasts a lifetime mark of 1:53f, taken at both Mohegan Sun Pocono and Tioga Downs.

Burke told Trot Insider that Habitat was sold outright to Swedish interests, but current plans include pointing the trotter to the American National at Balmoral Park on November 7.
